Papers & PresentationsDr. Robert Greenwood, director, The Harris Centre, gave the following presentations in January and February 2005: Jan. 19, presentation on the Harris Centre to the Federal Regional Council Policy Committee; Jan. 27, presentation on the Harris Centre to the Central Labrador Regional Economic Development Board, Happy Valley Goose Bay; Jan. 29, conference rapporteur, Atlantic Provinces Transportation Conference, Labrador City; Feb. 10, presentation on the Harris Centre to the Long Range Regional Economic Development Board, Stephenville; and Feb. 25, chaired the inaugural meeting of the National Rural Research Network, supported by the Federal Rural Secretariat, Ottawa. Dr. Sharon Taylor, School of Social Work, presented her paper The Wounding Gift: TAGS and the Social Regulation and Oppression of Women and Men on April 6, 2005, at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Bergen, Norway, Bergen Social Anthropology Series. |
