On Friday, Sept. 12, the Office of Student Recruitment welcomed
a continuous stream of visiting faculty, staff and students
to their open house as they celebrated the opening of their
new offices located in A-1000 and A-1002. Dr. Meisen was on
hand at 12 p.m. to mark the occasion with an official ribbon
cutting and an encouraging speech to the recruitment staff.
The open house served a dual purpose for the recruitment office:
to allow people to view the office's new location as well
as permit the staff to communicate the office's mandate to
the university's internal community. The office wishes to
thank everyone who joined in the celebration and encourages
those who did not get the chance to attend to drop by and
visit at anytime. Here, (L-R) Shona Perry-Maidment, Dr. Michael
Collins and Sheila Devine cut the first piece of cake at the
open house.
