Shirley DeBow, chancellor of the University of Lethbridge, Alberta,
visited Memorial Sept. 8 with her husband Judge Gerald DeBow.
President Axel Meisen held a luncheon in her honour, and Chancellor
DeBow spent the afternoon touring the Centre for Newfoundland
Studies and Telemedicine/TETRA (Telehealth and Educational Technology
Resource Agency) in the Faculty of Medicine. Mike Mooney (L),
TETRA’s associate director of operations and technical
support, showed Chancellor DeBow some of the centre’s
capabilities, such as videoconferencing. |
