An Amnesty International Write-a-Thon was held at the medical
school Dec. 10 in recognition of International Human Rights
Day. During the afternoon, supporters of Amnesty International
dropped by the Pastoral Care Office at the Health Sciences Centre
to write letters and cards concerning human rights violations.
(L-R) Dr. Khalid Aziz, Pamela Hoddinott, Volunteer Services,
Dr. Mary-Frances Scully (standing) and Father Bill Browne, Pastoral
Care, were all busy participants in the event. Dr. Aziz, Dr.
Scully and Dr. Cassie Few are long-time members of Amnesty International
who have recently formed an Action Circle at the medical school.
