Information reception – There is a reception
for level III high school students, their parents and/or
guardians, guidance counsellors and others interested in
Memorial University at 7 p.m. in the D. F. Cook Recital
Hall, Music Building. Representatives from Memorial's St.
John's campus, Grenfell College and Marine Institute will
be on hand to give brief presentations and answer any questions.
Refreshments will be provided.
Film series – MUN Cinema Series continues
the winter semester with My Life Without Me starring

Harvey Lecturer and Research Chair in Sociology at the University
of Newcastle, will speak on Feminist Theory Without Bounds

Seminar – The 2004 Political Science
Seminar Series features Dr. John Forster with a lecture
titled Openness, Corruption, and Accountability in Global
Civil Society: The Case of International Sports Organizations
at 4 p.m. in room SN-2041. Dr. Forster teaches at Griffith
University in Brisbane, Australia, and in the autonomous
Australia-New Zealand School of Government.
