Dr. Arthur May, president emeritus of Memorial University, was presented with an honorary life membership by the Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research (CCFFR) at the 57th annual meeting held in St John's, Jan. 8-10, in recognition of his contributions to fishery science in Canada. This was the second time Honorary Awards have been handed out at this meeting.
