Nelson Eldridge Squires

first television news cameraman in Newfoundland and an important
part of the innovative film work produced by the Memorial
University Extension Media Unit, died Dec. 29 in St. John's.
He was 75. MUN Extension opened in 1959, and was soon an
integral part of the developing professional, indigenous
