University has signed a long-term lease with the Autism
Society of Newfoundland and Labrador for the Shamrock
Farm Centre for Autism. Construction on the centre will
begin this spring and it is expected to be completed
by fall 2004. On hand for the announcement Dec. 9 were
(L-R) Elaine Dobbin, patron of the society's capital
campaign, Memorial President Axel Meisen, Dr. Georgina
Hedges, acting chair of the Board of Regents, and Joyce
Churchill, president of the Autism Society of Newfoundland
and Labrador. |
