Shad Valley students Al-Amyn Esmail of North York, Ontario, and Kendra Dawe of Fort St. John, British Columbia, pose with newspaper fashions that were created during the Shad Memorial fashion show. The fashion show, facilitated by Kate Vallis, was an exercise which developed creativity and team building skills. Shad Valley is a summer program for outstanding high school students where they learn about science, engineering, and entrepreneurship in a format that encourages creative thinking and co-operation.
