Franz (Frank) H. Zahn
Frank Zahn, a retired staff member from Facilities Management, passed
away at St. Clare’s hospital in St. John’s on Sept. 13, 2002.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Marianne; children, Hans
and Doris (Ted) Murphy; grandchildren, Andrea (Chris) Holloway, Franz,
Katherine, Heather and Mark; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ryan. Also
leaving to mourn, sisters, Rosi (Daniel) Greer (U.S.A.) and Gusty (Rudy)
Leicht (Germany); as well as numerous relatives and friends. Mr. Zahn
carved and painted the coats of arms of the Newfoundland and Labrador
municipalities hanging in the library atrium.
