William James (Bill) Noseworthy
William James Noseworthy of Glovertown (originally of Coxs Cove),
aged 68 years, retired faculty member from the Department of Psychology,
passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Feb. 10, 2003. Predeceased
by his two brothers, Fred and Garfield, and his sister Melissa. Leaving
to mourn are his former wife Hope, daughter Michelle (Ken) McCarthy, son
Craig (Sherri), grandchildren Meghan, Christopher, Brianna and Jillian,
brother Lockyer, sisters Marjorie (George) Mercer and Inez (Marcel) Rousseau
and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken
place. Donations in his memory can be made to the charity of ones
choice.
Paul Selby Batstone
Paul Batstone, co-op co-ordinator with the Faculty of Engineering and
Applied Science, passed away suddenly on Feb. 15, 2003, at age 53 years.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 29 years Glenda (Vivian); two sons: Keith
(friend Annette Matthias) and Trevor; parents Weston and Elizabeth Batstone;
sister Donna Letto (Grenfell); mother-in-law Mabel Vivian; nephews and
nieces Daryl, Jason and Heather Letto; many other relatives and friends;
special friends Jim Hillier (Betty) and many Masonic Brethren. Paul was
the reigning Master of Masonic Lodge Newfoundland Kilwinning #1754. In
lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss
Murphy Cancer Care Centre or to the School Lunch Program.
