Dr. Andrew Bagby
The body of Dr. Andrew Bagby, a 2000 medical graduate of Memorial University, was discovered Nov. 6 in Keystone State Park, about three miles southeast of New Alexandria in Pennsylvania. A native of California, Dr. Bagby was one of the small numbers of Americans admitted annually to the Faculty of Medicine. After graduation, he completed one year of a residency program in Syracuse, N.Y. before deciding to go into family medicine. He enrolled in the three-year Family Practice Residency program at Latrobe Area Hospital July 1, working one day a week in the hospital’s satellite office in Saltsburg. State police are investigating the murder.
