Dr. Ross Klein, associate professor in the School of Social Work, has been appointed to the board of directors of Family Service Canada. Family Service Canada’s mission is to promote families as the primary source of nurture and development of individuals, to promote quality services which strengthen families and communities, and to advocate policies and legislation which advance family well-being in Canada. It has affiliated family and children agencies across Canada. Dr. Klein took his place on the 10-member board in January 2002.
