Heaven can’t wait

Dave Elliott and Amy Anthony practise a scene from Al Pittman’s This Side of Heaven as members oftheir first-year theatre class look on. The play, staged April 11, was the class’s first public production, the culmination of a year’s work. They were honoured that Mr. Pittman, who gave a poetry reading later in the evening in aid of the theatre Harlow fund, was able to attend their performance. Other members of the class are Samantha Abbott, Cory Blanchard, Gayle Elliott, Krista Hann, Alison House, Greg House, Jocelyn Ivany, Jane Maggs, Dana Puddicombe, Julie Stagg, Jennifer Thornhill and Mark White. This Side of Heaven was directed by Todd Hennesy of Grenfell’s theatre department; musical direction was provided by Mark White.
