ASSOCIATE
VICE-PRESIDENT (ACADEMIC)
Applications
and nominations are invited to fill the position of associate
vice-president (academic), which has been vacant since May 1996.
The appointment will be effective April 1, 2001, or as soon thereafter
as possible, for a term of three years renewable by mutual agreement.
The
associate vice-president (academic) is responsible to the vice-president
(academic) for the development and maintenance of the academic
policies of the university and for sharing leadership in designated
aspects of academic administration. The incumbent will take a
particular interest in academic programming and collaboration.
The successful candidate will be a senior academic who has demonstrated
a strong commitment to teaching, familiarity with a wide range
of instructional modalities, effective advocacy, and successful
experience in university administration.

curriculum vitae and the names of at least three referees. Candidates
