Applications are invited for an eight month contractual position in the Department of History at Memorial University of Newfoundland. The position will commence on 1 September 2001, subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate will be expected to teach primarily in the field of aboriginal history (ethnohistory) as well as some teaching at the first year level. Applicants are expected to have a completed doctorate and teaching experience. The closing date for applications is 30 April 2001. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience, as stipulated by the collective agreement.
