DR. GARY SNEDDON, Mathematics and Statistics, presented a talk titled Generating Probability Distributions of Analyses Using Ensembles of Forecasts and Bayesian Statistics, at the annual meeting of the Statistical Society of Canada in Ottawa, June 4-7, 2000.

DR. SERPIL KOCABIYIK, Mathematics and Statistics, presented a contributed paper titled On an Elliptic Cylinder under Translational Oscillation, at the 8th Annual Conference of the Computational Fluid Dynamics Society of Canada in Montreal, June 11-13, 2000.

DR. T. T. GIEN, Physics, attended the 17th International Conference on Atomic Physics (ICAP2000), held on June 3-9, 2000 at Florence, Italy. Dr. Gien presented a paper at this conference titled Electron Scattering from Atomic Hydrogen at Low Energy.
