Dr. Kevin F. Condon
Dr. Kevin Condon, an honorary graduate of Memorial University, passed away Dec. 17, 1999. Dr. Condon, an inshore fishermen from Calvert on the Southern Shore, was influential in the unification of workers in Newfoundland’s fishing industry. He was awarded an honorary doctor of laws in May, 1994.
Phyllis Dunn-Delaney
Phyllis Dunn-Delaney, a retired staff member of Memorial, passed away Dec. 28. Ms. Dunn-Delaney was one of the first 10 recipients of the MUN Pensioners’ Association Meritorious Service award.
