Young Marks II
Sir Wilfred Grenfell College and School District 3 (Corner Brook-Deer
Lake-St. Barbe) are collaborating on Young Marks II, an exciting
exhibition of local childrens art. The exhibition is a
joint project that will result in an art exhibition of students
works from kindergarten to Grade 6. About 11 schools and 1,000
students from the Bay of Islands to Parsons Pond are working
on visual arts projects for the exhibition. The projects involve
many art forms, including paintings, banners, dioramas, papier
mache, dinosaurs and handmade paper and prints. The works, which
are as varied as students imaginations, will be shown at
Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery until Jan. 7, 2000.
