Thomas Stephen Dwyer
Tom Dwyer, a staff member with Printing Services, passed away April 16 in St. John’s. Leaving to mourn his fiancee Dorothy Crickard, mother Phylis (Peg) Dwyer, and brother Andrew. In lieu of flowers, donations to his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
Averil E. Molloy
Averil Molloy, a student in the bachelor of social work program, passed away April 15 in Corner Brook after a long and brave battle with cancer. Donations may be made for the future Averil Molloy Resource Library, c/o Jocelyn Rose, 144 Georgetown Road, Corner Brook, A2H 3X4.
Ralph James Dawe
Jim Dawe, a faculty member from the Department of Computer Science, passed away April 6 after a long and courageous battle with Type I diabetes. During a 30 year career teaching computer science, he helped launch the careers of many young people. Donations in his name may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
