Buzz Hargrove, national president of the Canadian Auto-Workers, was a keynote speaker at Business Day '99 held on Feb. 5. Mr. Hargrove is a well-know national union figure as well as a social and political advocate on issues concerning workers and thei r families. At the conference, the union leader spoke to an audience of over 300 students and business people on the importance of government and corporate responsibility. Business Day is organized annually by Memorial's graduating bachelor of commerce class.
