Dr. Michael Collins, Biology, has been named a 3M Teaching Fellow by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, presented anually to individuals who demonstrate teaching excellence and exceptionally high degree of leadership and commitment to the improvement of university teaching across disciplines. Only one other Memorial member has won the award in th past: Dr. Penny Hansen of the Faculty of Medicine in 1990.
