Weight off mayor's shoulders

Since Memorial took over the Aquarena from the city, the board of directors of the Canada Games Park 1995 Inc., has put into place a strategic paln that included purchasing a Tim Horton's freanchise, installing two new water slides, and expanding the Fitness Centre. At the official opening Sept 10 of the new Fitness Centre, located on the second floor of the Aquarena, Mayor Andy Wells took the opportunity to show off his weight lifting skill, with the help of university president Dr. Arthur May(L), and the chair of the Canada Games Park, Bill Thistle and director/general manager Anne Noseworthy(R).
