Sisters Diana(R) and Callie Fong were all smiles after Diana won this model plane at the Engineering Open House March 7. The twins were among the 4,000 visitors to the open house. The plane was made from a computer-generated design in about 36 hours using a rapid prototyping system recently purchased by the faculty that creates models of virtually any shape in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional modelling methods. It used 1,000 sheets of paper glued together by a computer to create this shape of a jet fighter.
