DR. T. A. LOEFFLER, Physical Education, has had two chapters published in the book Women's Voices in Experiential Education. Her chapters are called Leading the Way: Strategies that Enhance Women's Involvement in Experiential Education Careers, and Sexual Harassment and Experiential Education Programs: A Closer Look.
DAVID BEHM, Physical Education, has had a paper titled Muscle Inactivation: An Assessment of the Interpolated Twitch Technique, published in the Journal of Applied Physiology. The work was co-written by D. M. M. St-Pierre and D. Perez.
In July, DR. WILLIAM SCHIPPER, English, presented a paper titled The Earliest Manuscripts of Rabanus Maurus' De rerum naturis at a conference on pre- modern encyclopedic texts at the University of Groningen. The trip was supported by a travel grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
DR. MELVIN BAKER, university archivist, has had two papers published recently. Book Collectors in Newfoundland: The Case of W. G. Gosling, co-written with the late G. M. Story, was published by Dalhousie University's School of Library and Information Studies in "The Book Disease": Atlantic Provinces Book Collectors. Down North: A Historiographical Overview of Newfoundland and Labrador was published by Lakehead University's Centre for Northern Studies in The Historiography of the Provincial Norths.
