Anne Brackin Oliver

Anne Brackin Oliver is an architectural conservator with a broad range of experience in the preservation of historic buildings and archaeological sites. She studied art and architectural history at the University of Virginia and received a master’s degree in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on the conservation of stone, plaster, and earthen materials. Initially employed as a conservator with the National Park Service, she worked primarily on Native American archaeological sites and Spanish Colonial ruins. Today, as a principal of Oliver Conservation Group, a consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, her work focuses on the history, documentation, and preservation of 19th and 20th century architecture in the western United States.
