Gerald Aylward of Cape Broyle

Gerald Aylward was born in 1917 to Maurice Aylward and Cathereine Hartery. He died in 1987. He was listed as being 35 in Leach's 1950 notes, although he would have actually been 33.

Leach collected six songs from Gerald: "Lady and Sailor," "Flying Cloud," "Wexford Girl," "McDonald of Salmonier," "Tidal Wave at Burin," and "Barbara Allen."
