Bernard Houlihan of Flatrock

Bernard Houlihan, who was born in March, 1923, was in his late twenties when Leach recorded him. Bernard's father was Morris Houlihan. Bernard grew up in Flatrock. His wife, who he married in 1948, is Agnes Thorne from the nearby community of Torbay. Their descendants include seven children, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Bernard and Agnes currently live in Torbay.

Leach collected "Flatrock Hills" and "Shoal Harbour Line" from Bernard.
