The Ahfad Journal : Women and Change

The Ahfad Journal: Women and Change started in 1984 with Dr. Lee G. Burchinal, then a professor at the Ahfad University for Women, as the founding editor. When he returned to the United States in 1987, Dr. Amna Badri, Associate Professor and Vice President for Academic Affairs, became and has remained the editor. Now in its 15th year of publication, The Ahfad Journal: Women and Change is the only scholarly journal published on a regular basis in Sudan.

The Ahfad Journal: Women and Change is published twice a year, in June and December. Articles are in English with Arabic and English abstracts. Each issue contains 4 to 6 articles, 8 to 12 summaries of senior research projects conducted by Ahfad students, 3 or 4 book reviews, and news about developments at the Ahfad University for Women.
