Internal Audit

handshake

One of the duties of ERM is to oversee the management of the University and be able to assist management at all levels.

An internal audit examines and evaluates all activities of the University. ERM then provides analysis, appraisals, and recommendations about the activities reviewed.

Through internal audit ERM will:

  • Determine the effectiveness of financial, administrative, property and corporate level controls;
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance procedures and controls access across the University;
  • Follow up to assess remediation success

If you are aware of or suspect a case of loss, misappropriation, misuse or theft of University monies or property, immediately contact the Director of Enterprise Risk Management. All information collected and used will be kept confidential.
