Writer in Residence
Memorial's writer-in-residence serves as a resource for the entire community, meeting with writers at any stage of development, working in any genre. The program is supported by Memorial's Faculty of Arts, the Department of English Language and Literature, and the Canada Council for the Arts. Typically taking up residence in fall semesters, our writers-in-residence have included some of Canada's finest novelists, poets, and playwrights.
