Conference Hotel
Formerly known as 'The Hotel' — it was best-known establishment of its kind in the province — the Sheraton is situated in downtown St. John's, a stone's throw from the harbour, shops and great restaurants.
Current renovations should be completed well before next October.
We ate there on New Year's Day (as we do every year) and the food has never tasted better.
The 1992 CSECS/SCEDHS conference was held at this location.

Le congrès 2010 de la CSECS / SCEDHS se tiendra à l’hôtel Sheraton Newfoundland.
Connu autrefois sous le nom The Hotel, l’établissement était le plus réputé de sa catégorie dans la province. Le Sheraton est situé au centre de St. John’s, tout près du port, des boutiques et des bons restaurants.
Les rénovations en cours doivent s’achever bien avant le mois d’octobre prochain. Nous y avons mangé, comme tous les ans, pour le Réveillon de la Saint-Sylvestre: la cuisine y est toujours aussi remarquable.
