Geotechnical and Structural Engineering

There is a 15-credit-hour requirement for the award of the graduate diploma.

A student must complete nine credits hours from a list of prescribed core courses from Group A and six credit hours from a list of prescribed electives from Group B, as follows:

Group A courses: Three core courses (three credit hours per course)

ENGI 9723 Soil Properties and Behaviour
ENGI 9760 Special Topics in Geotechnical Engineering

Group B courses: Two elective courses from the following list (three credit hours per course)

ENGI 9505 Structural Dynamics and Vibrations
ENGI 9520 Solid and Structural Mechanics
ENGI 9750 Advanced Topics in Analysis and Design of Reinforced Concrete
ENGI 9755 Advanced Topics in Precast and Prestressed Concrete
