Personal Profile

Sohrab Zendehboudi is an Assistant Professor and Statoil Chair in Reservoir Analysis in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Memorial University where he is currently focusing on Reservoir Characterization, Petroleum PVT Behavior, Recovery Methods, and Carbon Capture and Sequestration. For more than 10 years, Sohrab worked as a process engineer, researcher, instructor, co-supervisor, and professor at various companies/universities in Iran, Kuwait, USA, and Canada. Sohrab holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering (specializing in Transport Phenomena in Porous Media) from the University of Waterloo.

 

Open Position(s)

Two Postdoctoral Positions are available with expertise in the following areas:

  • Reservoir Analysis
  • Transport Phenomena in Porous Media
  • Carbon Capture and Storage

Applicants with strong knowledge/background and adequate experience in "Numerical and Analytical Modeling," "Molecular Dynamic Simulation," "Lattice Boltzmann Method," and "Hybrid Connectionist Tools" are recommended to apply for these positions.
