Scholarships and Awards
Memorial University and the Faculty of Education offer many scholarships, awards and bursaries to entrance, undergraduate and graduate students.
While there are no entrance scholarships specifically for the Faculty of Education, there are general entrance scholarships available to new students entering Memorial.
Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards
There are several scholarships and bursaries available to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education. Most of these awards do not require application. All eligible education students are automatically considered.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education recommends candidates for these awards, however, the Scholarships and Awards Office handles the final review, confirmation, notifcation and award process.
Hibernia Teaching Fellowship
Oceans Learning Partnership, in consultation with its education partners at Memorial University, is extending the application deadline for the 2018 Hibernia Teaching Fellowship Program. The application will remain open until further notice.
Graduate Scholarships and Awards
There is a wide variety of scholarships available to graduate students at Memorial University. The School of Graduate Studies has a database where you can search for awards and scholarships based on your degree and field of study. The School of Graduate Studies also offers a designation of Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies. More information can be found on the Fellows Criteria page.
