Science Across the Curriculum: Professional Development through Collaboration, Inquiry and Reflection

One strategy that is being promoted to achieve educational change in education is the adoption of partnerships amongst various stakeholders. In this project, through the development of a partnership between the Eastern School District and Memorial University of Newfoundland, K-12 teachers were afforded an opportunity to engage in teacher-directed, ongoing professional development as a means to enhance and develop their understanding and practice of science teaching and learning.
