TO: 3rd and 4th year earth science students

SUBJECT: Call for Applications - PEGNL Bursary - due October 31st

Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) is aware that some students may require additional assistance in financing their education, especially in the later semesters of the MUN earth science programs.

PEGNL is therefore making a bursary, in the amount of $2,000 , available to a student this Fall 2011 Semester. PEGNL encourages eligible students to apply to the program and looks forward to awarding a bursary to the selected recipient.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Applicants must have declared a major in earth sciences .

• Applicants be in the 3rd or 4th year of their program.

• Applicants must attach a statement (no more than one page) that describes what difference the bursary would make to their success as a geoscientist.
