Planetary Science

Planetary Science has had a longstanding stake in space exploration through the development of technologies to support robotic and human missions led by NASA and ESA. Earth scientists play a role in defining key science objectives for the missions and the technologies necessary to carry them out through studies of extraterrestrial samples and impact craters on Earth.
