CUPE 1615 Contest Has Ended: Five entries have been received with correct answers for the CUPE 1615 website contest that appeared in this month's newsletter. The contest has now officially ended and winners will be notified within the next week. Thanks to everyone that entered.

CUPE 1615 Election on January 10th: The CUPE Biennial Election for the full executive including the president is happening on January 10th, in room ED 2018B at 5PM. Food will be served at 5:00 PM, voting commences at 5:30 PM.

Labour Day Celebration 2011: This Labour Day, Monday Sept. 5th, the St. John’s and District Labour Council is planning an event in St. John’s to celebrate workers and their contribution to this great country. Here is more information on this event which will take place at the St. John’s Swiler’s Rugby club on Crosbie Rd. It starts at 1 p.m. on Sept. 5th. Everyone is invited.
