CUPE 1615 is the union representing approximately 900 Administrative, Technical and Instructional Support Staff at Memorial University's St. John's and Corner Brook Campus.


• Petition Against EI Changes
To execute its 2012 Budget, the federal Government introduced Bills C-38 and C-45 which include major changes to Employment Insurance – with negative impacts for workers across Canada. Please visit and sign our petition to scrap the Harper EI changes! Provided by the Newfoundland & Labrador Federation of Labour.

Steward Learning Series

  • Being an ally for equality
  • Creating an accommodation friendly workplace
  • Connecting with Aboriginal workers

This new series of three-hour modules will give stewards a wide range of knowledge and skills to represent members and respond to situations in the workplace.
Date & Times:  Sat., June 22 (9 am – 4 pm) and Sun., June 23 (9 am – completion)
Location: CUPE St. John’s Area Office (36 Austin Street
Facilitator: Larry Power, Union Development Representative
Fee: $25 (Registration fee must accompany registration in order to reserve spot)
