CUPE 1615 is the union representing approximately 900 Administrative, Technical and Instructional Support Staff at Memorial University's St. John's and Corner Brook campuses.

The By Laws herein are adopted by the Local pursuant to, and to supplement the CUPE constitution, to safeguard the rights of all members, to provide for responsible administration of the Local and to involve as many members as possible through the sharing of duties and responsibilities.


Next time you talk with a member of the Health & Safety committee, say thank you. Why? Because our H&S folks are partly responsible for the installation of the Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in every building of the campuses at St. John’s, Corner Brook, and Marine Institute. If you’ve had first aid training recently, you will have learned how to use one. We’re told that more training is planned but don’t worry, they are very easy to use.
