Type of Work Placements

Students learn how to apply scientific methods in finding solutions to environmental problems. Work situations could include working with environment consultants who seek solutions to water or air pollution problems, working with multinational oil and gas companies to create environmentally responsible practices, or conducting research with government departments to provide information needed for decisions on environmental policy on natural resource development.
