National Co-operative Education Week 2011
Co-operative Education Student & Employer Recognition Luncheon
On March 22, 2011, Memorial’s Division of Co-operative Education hosted their 6th annual awards function titled Co-operative Education Student & Employer Recognition Luncheon to celebrate the support of co-op employers and the success of our students.
Coinciding with National Co-operative Education Week, which took place March 21-25, the event recognized four co-operative education students as recipients of the 6th annual Director’s Award for an Exemplary Work Term. The award recognizes senior co-operative education students for obtaining a pass with distinction in both the work performance evaluation and the communications component of the work term. In addition, six employers were recognized with the 2011 Employer's Award for Exemplary Learning Opportunity for their involvement with co-op over the years. The students recognized for the Director's Award for an Exemplary Work Term, could not have achieved success without the partnership with their respective employer.
