On the day of convocation

Family and guests should arrive with the graduating student. Guest tickets are provided to the graduate to distribute at rehearsal or an hour prior to the ceremony. Seating for guests is on a first come, first served basis and doors to the theatre will open one hour prior to the ceremony.

Each ceremony is about 90 minutes.

Parking at the Arts and Culture Centre

Parking is limited at the Arts and Culture Centre on the day of convocation. Parking for graduates, family and guests is free. It is recommended that you arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the ceremonies to secure parking. Carpooling and taxis are recommended.

There are several reserved parking spaces on site. These are marked. 

Accessibility at the Arts and Culture Centre

The Arts and Culture Centre has limited accessiblity. Please contact the Arts and Culture Centre head usher if any guests attending require assistance on the day of convocation. Inquiries regarding accessibility and accommodations can be directed to the Student Services office.

Gifts for graduates

The bookstore will have a booth at the Arts and Culture Centre, available will be an assortment of memorabilia for this special occasion. Apparel and other items can also be purchased online or call (709) 864-8084 to place orders for rings.

Fresh flowers are also available for purchase on site.
