Community Service-Learning
Looking for alternative ways to learn outside of your text books? Community Service-Learning provides opportunities through service in community projects to expand the learning process and give back in a hands on manner.
All participants are invited to participate in reflection activities after the service is completed in order to experience the deepened and memorable learning experience with their peers ranging in group sizes of 2-25.
Memorial University students are already contributing to the community through Service-Learning at events such as food development, sustainability, nature & trail stewardship, and social justice. One of the largest community service-learning events is the on-going Community Garden behind Queen's College.
