 Environmental Science Career Networking Event

On February.8th, 2017 science students/graduates will have an opportunity to pitch their skills and experiences to employers from various companies in the science field. During the event, groups of students/grads and participating employers/ recruiters will be matched up at tables and get acquainted. The students will move to another table approximately every 7 minutes to meet another employer(s) at the next table until all students have met all employers.

Note: Although this Science Networking event is focused on Environmental Science- many of the companies attending hire for various science backgrounds. The site will be updated soon to inform students of what backgrounds companies recruit for.

 Science Career Talks

On Monday, October.30th, 2017 there will be a Biochemistry Career Talk for science students/graduates whereby biochemistry alumni will speak about what career path they have pursued and how they navigated their job search with their backgrounds. Since many jobs are not publicly advertised, networking often plays a major role in how students and graduates find jobs and a career that fits their interests and values.
