Windows XP Computers - No Internet connectivity after April 8, 2014
C&C Service Desk

On Wednesday, April 9, computers running the Windows XP operating system on the Memorial network will lose Internet connectivity. As previously announced, Windows XP will no longer be supported by Microsoft after Tuesday, April 8. Due to the security risks posed to both users and the university, Computing & Communications is removing Internet access for computers found to be running Windows XP. If you are using a Memorial-owned computer -- PC or laptop -- at home or on campus that runs Windows XP, please get in touch with Computing & Communications at 864-4595 or help@mun.ca as soon as possible regarding an operating system upgrade. For more information, please visit the project website: www.mun.ca/cc/projects/osupgrade/index.php
