C&C Service Desk
Memorial University is experiencing issues with the Microsoft Exchange Email server.
Users may see their mail client showing as disconnected in Outlook.
The Department of Computing and Communications technical staff is working to resolve the issue.
Clients having questions or concerns about this service disruption are encouraged to contact the C&C Service Desk at 864-4595 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Computing and Communications advises clients to be aware of malicious Word email attachments purporting to be invoices. These attachments contain malware and have already resulted in several infections on campus. Clients are reminded to never open unexpected attachments, especially those from unrecognized senders. If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a particular attachment, contact the sender to confirm before opening. To learn more about malware and other computing risks, please complete Memorial’s online Information Security Awareness Training via Desire2Learn. Visit https://online.mun.ca/, login in using your my.mun.ca credentials, and follow the MUN Information Security Awareness Training link.
Our department offers a variety of Services that address the changing needs of Memorial University as a whole. We are pleased to provide you with help throughout this web-page and via our Service Desk, located in the Henrietta Harvey Building.
Please note: C&C has designated weekly Service Maintenance Windows. While not always used, these weekly time slots may be utilized to perform maintenance activities that can potentially affect the performance or availability of a C&C Service.
