In observance of Remembrance Day, MUN Botanical Garden will be closed to the public on November 11, 2014.
Memorial University was founded, and is aptly named, as a living memorial to those who served in the First World War. It was later re-dedicated to also honour Newfoundland's war dead of the Second World War.
Each year, a Ceremony of Remembrance is held at Memorial Univesity to reflect on the lives lost and the sacrifices made by those who fought for country and future.
The Newfoundland Book of Remembrance is available online on Memorial University's website and features page-turning software.
