VOLUNTEERS AND MONITORING PROGRAMS
At MUN Botanical Garden, we have always recognized the importance of volunteers. From the Friends of the Garden to our monitoring programs, volunteers have always played an integral role at the Garden. We currently have two volunteer based monitoring programs which depend on the valuable information contributed by volunteers. Plant Watch is part of the national Nature Watch series where “citizen scientists” help identify ecological changes that may be affecting our environment by recording blooming times for selected plants.
