Junior Naturalist Camp Program 2012
Become a Junior Naturalist and explore the great outdoors. Mingle with plants, animals and everything in between. Five days of nature activities - adventures galore!
Junior Naturalist Camps are available to children who have just completed grades one to five, with the exception of Camps #1, #6, and #9 which are half-day programs available to children who have completed kindergarten.
Please note: Preschool children and/or children starting Kindergarten in September cannot be accepted.
Registration:
To register, please sign and complete a 2012 Junior Naturalist Camp Registration Form.
Public registration will commence May 1, 2012.
Advance registration and discounts for members of the Friends of the Garden is available April 10, 2012. Registrations must be submitted by mail, fax or email. To register in person, please visit the Botanical Garden when it is open to the public, starting May 1, 2012.
Please Note:
A 2012 JNC Registration Form, signed by a parent or guardian, is required for all registrations. Please call 864-8590 for more information.
A confirmation package will be forwarded to all camp participants in June.
Program Duration
Camps #1, #6, & #9: Half-day programs: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
(Parents may drop-off children at 8:45 a.m. & pick them up before 1:30 p.m.)
Camps #2-5 and #7-8: Full day programs: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
(Parents may drop-off children at 8:45 a.m. & pick them up before 4:30 p.m.)
Pick-up / Drop-off: Parents may drop-off children at 8:45 a.m. and must pick-up before 1:30 or 4:30 p.m., depending on the program.
